Marriage of the Lamb

Isang Pagbubulay-bulay by Max Bringula

This is the time for the marriage of the Lamb. His bride is ready.” – Rev. 19:7
This could be the happiest moment in the life of a woman.

It would be the wedding of a lifetime.

It was called the wedding of the century.

But there is one wedding that is worth-waiting and extremely fulfilling, incomparable to any royal wedding held before and would be held in the years to come.

And that is the Marriage of the Lamb, the Wedding for all Eternity.

The bridegroom of course is the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Bride is the Church. The Church is us – the saints that were washed and redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. She is dressed in dazzling white linen, pure and clean.

This would be the happiest, grandest moment in the life of the believer.

"Alleluia! The reign of the Lord our God the Almighty has begun; let us be glad and joyful and give praise to God, because this is the time for the marriage of the Lamb. His bride is ready, and she has been able to dress herself in dazzling white linen, because her linen is made of the good deeds of the saints." -
Revelation 19:7-8

But are we ready? Are we wearing the wedding cloth ready to meet our Bridegroom?

Be wise then and not be fooled like the five virgins who failed to light their lamp when the Bridegroom comes. (Read the Parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25)

The Bridegroom is coming! The Dinner is ready for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Be ready then.
